I’m calling these chocolate peanut butter fat bombs. I found inspiration on Pinterest, but so many fat bombs called for stuff I didn’t have. I like these. I have a sweet tooth at times, and these satisfy the cravings. You can’t go crazy eating these either. I just have one or two pieces, and I’m good.
I don’t have a candy mold or an extra ice cube tray. So I pour these into a divided plastic plate, freeze, and then I break them up into a bowl that I keep in the freezer.
My kids haven’t caught on yet that “mom’s chocolate” is hidden in the orange tupperware bowl in the back corner of the freezer! 🙂
Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs
My go-to snack when I need to satisfy a craving for something sweet. Super easy. Enjoy!
- 1/4 cup Coconut Oil
- 1/2 cup Natural Nut Butter (I use peanut butter )
- 1/4 cup Cocoa (I use 100% cacao )
- Dash Salt
- Splash Vanilla
- 1 tbsp Sweetner (I use Stevia. You may need more. Depends on how sweet you want it.)
Mix coconut oil, nut butter and cocoa together. Microwave a few seconds if you need to soften. You want it to be runny.
Mix in stevia, vanilla and salt. Give it a taste test. If it’s not sweet enough, add in sweetner until you’re happy with it.
Pour the mixture into candy molds or into whatever apparatus you’re using.
Put in the freezer for about 30 minutes. You want it to get frozen.
Take frozen pieces and put in a bowl. Put them back in the freezer. Pull out and enjoy. When they start to melt, they’ll get runny again. So, I keep them in the freezer.
